CHISEL PLOUGH “FERGUS”
Machine Description
A chisel plow is a specialized agricultural tool for deep loosening of soil without inverting it. Unlike traditional plows, its main advantage is loosening and aerating the soil to a great depth, which allows it to break up the plow pan and improve its structure and water-holding capacity. The machine is equipped with sturdy, narrow tines (chisels) that penetrate the ground.
Benefits of Use
•Improved Soil Structure: Increases access of air and water to deeper soil layers, facilitating water penetration and the development of plant root systems.
•Improved Plant Growth: A deeply developed root system leads to faster growth and better plant health.
•Cost Reduction: Using a chisel plow can be more economical than traditional plowing, and also reduces energy expenditure and the time required for cultivation.
•Improved Aeration: Introduces oxygen to the soil, which is crucial for the development of soil microorganisms.
